A single design system to unify eight product teams that had drifted into eight different button styles. Tokens, 60+ components, and multi-brand theming, all documented and versioned.
The work
Process
Ran a two-week interface inventory that surfaced 90+ redundant components, then defined a three-tier token model (primitive, semantic, component). Built the library in Figma and shipped a matching React package with Storybook docs and visual regression tests.
Outcome
Adoption reached 82% of product surfaces within two quarters. New feature UI shipped roughly 35% faster, and visual QA defects tied to inconsistent components dropped by more than half.
